It all started with Chen Huirong, the patriarch of our family, who is a recognized culinary master in China. His culinary prowess earned him international renown as a judge for the World Cuisine Federation, and his commitment to education made him a respected instructor at five professional culinary schools within the Zhejiang province. From a very young age, he imparted his profound knowledge and love for the culinary arts onto his son, igniting a lifelong passion.

Immersed deeply in the Hangzhou culinary tradition, the son spent his formative years under his father’s guidance, mastering the unique tastes and techniques of this rich regional cuisine. Eager to broaden his culinary horizons, he journeyed to Guangdong at the tender age of 15, delving into the subtleties of Cantonese cuisine.

At the age of 18, the next chapter of his journey unfolded when he followed his father to the Netherlands. There, he served as the head chef at Wing Wah, a formerly popular Chinese restaurant in Rotterdam. Carrying forward this rich legacy of culinary excellence, we are committed to continuing this family tradition.
